Come and meet the members of the Steering Committee who are working on your behalf in compiling the Wolverley Plan. Come and tell us what is important to you and the environment you live in. The Plan itself will be published in March of 2006 and will go forward to Worcestershire County Council as a blueprint for improving services.

It is hoped that a ‘local celebrity’ will be invited to action the draw for the raffle which has been linked with the questionnaires.

Local businesses will be encouraged to use the Wolverley web site to advertise their services. As the interest in the Parish Plan takes off it is anticipated that many residents will view the Wolverley web site on a regular basis. Therefore making it an excellent advertising vehicle for all-local businesses and events.

Mike Hawkes, of the Queens Head has offered a fantastic meal for two with wine, as an incentive to get your questionnaire back on time. A raffle ticket will be attached to each questionnaire and needs to be returned in the envelope provided.

150 residents will take part in the first questionnaire, which will contain 10 questions for them to complete, of the key issues they consider needs addressing in the Wolverley area. It is hoped the distribution will be early April.

Initial press releases in the Kidderminster Chronicle on the 17th February and Shuttle on the 24th February 2005. Both publications gave an excellent introduction to the newly formed Steering Committee who will produce a Parish Plan in conjunction with Cookley for March 2006
